In this work, Thoreau ruminates about the people, experiences, as well as the history of the Cape. The library will have multiple copies for people to borrow. Also, birthday cake and refreshments will be served to celebrate Thoreau’s birthday two hundred years ago. To register, please call the library at (413) 283-3330, ext. 100. This program is part of the Thoreau Bicentennial Statewide Read and is brought to you by the Monson Free Library, the Palmer Public Library, and the Wilbraham Public Library.
