    Event Description:
    Wednesday, July 12, 6-7 pm — Essential Oils Make-and-Take with Kerri Mahan Participants will make two natural two toxic-free products:  Thieves All-Purpose Household Cleaner and  Stress/Sleep Support Roll-on.  Space is limited to twenty people and registration is required. Wednesday, July 19 , 6-7 pm — Mindfulness Workshop with Dr. Ruth Folchman, PsyD, CGP   Wednesday, July 26, 6-7 pm — Book Discussion of Henry David Thoreau's Cape Cod. Books will be provided. Cake and beverages will be served in honor of the month Thoreau was born! This program is part of the Thoreau Bicentennial Statewide Read and is brought to you by the Palmer Public Library, the Monson Free Library, and the Wilbraham Public Library. Wednesday, August 9, 6 pm — The Role of the Honeybees in the Environment with Beekeeper Kenneth Warchol Presentation takes you into the bees’ hive. Samples of honey will be available for tasting! Thursday, August 10, 6 pm — Book Talk with Edward Lodi, The Angel of Hadley:   A Legend of King Philip’s War and the Strange History Behind It.   Account of the Indian attack on Hadley on September 1, 1675, when a stranger appeared to save the day, then vanished, causing the settlers to believe that he was an emissary sent by God. Build a Better World is sponsored by the Palmer Public Library, The Massachusetts Library System,  The Boston Bruins, The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, The Friends of the Palmer Public Library, and The Palmer Cultural Council.
